you creep
round and round
footsteps
so silent
tryin' to cover
and hide
the truth
from my mind

i know
what you're doin'
but
i seem
not to care
i just want you
i just need you
i just can't live
wit out you

but you lie
to hide the truth
to create
our so-called
perfect world

but
its crumblin'
at your feet
what does he have
that i don't
what does he give you
that i can't
whats so great
about him
that you'd risk it all

does he tell you
that you're the only one
like you say
to me
over and over
what happens
when he decides
he is done wit you
and no longer
wants you
what then
then will i be
good enough
for you

am i only
your second place
runner-up guy
for whenever
hes busy
or doesn't want to see you
i'm just your safety net
always there
for your every need
is that how it is
