I didnt know
It would be hard
To walk away
From you
I didnt say
All I wanted to
But what can I do
When youre not there

Ive tried before
And tried and tried again
But all I get is visions
Of what could have been
I cant let go
I cant let you know
That Im not over you
Are you not over me too?

Im sorry I never told you
Its my fault I can in no way hold you
And I never got to say
What I wanted to
How I wanted you
But its too overdue
And I know that
Its too late to have you

Who would have thought,
Id be in this place
When I was always the one
Who wore the happy face
I was never broken hearted
Until there was you
And I know now
What love can do
And now,
