You made me laugh You helped me cry. You fought for me; I don't know why.
You gave me life You helped me cheer. You made me see The world so clear.
You gave me faith In my own stock. You helped me fight; You are my rock.
I used to fear The great unknown You gave me strenght To stand on my own.
I'm still afraid To face my fears. I'm still trying To hold in the tears.
I still feel fear Sometimes I'm blue But all I need Is my rock-that's you.

A truly touching poem. My grandmother died in July, but she had always insisted we didnt' have a funeral for her. She didn't want a fuss made. The other day we scattered some of her ashes in her garden, but I still can't completly absorb that she is dead. I guess it is because there was no funeral. My grandfather is getting sicker and sicker by the day and I am afraid of losing him aswell. Anyway as I said, a very touching poem |
