I Remember

Contributed by Cobalt on Tuesday, 28th October 2003 @ 11:49:42 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I remember every litle thing. I remember the first time I truly saw you and thought just how beautiful you really were. I remember our first kiss and the first time that we made love. I can still remember your eyes the first time that you said that you loved me. I remember when I woke up one morning and realized that you would hate me forever. I walked away instead of try sealing hate to fate for what I'd done. I remember the pain in your eyes as you begged and pleaded as if it were your life. I remember the moment days ago when I realized it was true. I will forever remember all the wrong I've done. I know the pain in my heart will just be burried, yet never go away. I remember that now I've lost you. I remember forever, and ever, and always.

The type of pain you described in this poem just eats you up inside. It is horrible and this was a very powerful, moving poem. Kie

So this is how it started. Did you write before this? I can identify with this pain somewhat. The depth of it and the feeling of being submersed in memories and just wanting to drown there.

I am going to work my way through your poems, from this to your latest as Black13, so I don't forget (forget what? you, this, all your poetry . . . everything). Even if you're here anymore at all, I doubt you still check up on the Cobalt account, so maybe you won't see all my comments and maybe you will. That's not the point.

I don't know how long it'll take me to get through all these, but I guess I'll finish when I finish.

Anyhow. This poem stings . . . I wonder, would you-- would we, would anyone-- be happier forgetting? Memories . . . meh.

--Nora.
