I walk and think of summer gone - smile
now see leaves brown and crisp to touch
I breath the cooing air, close my eyes
and then my mind opens, you walk to me
With arms outstretched you take me - invite
oh, warmth flows in me, here, with thee
our heads bow and foreheads touch
a gentle kiss, our kiss, as we know how
Walking, so much to say, it's been so long - lonely
you're here now, I know, in spirit
but spirit so strong I feel you touch me
feel your tear, see it fall, to cold ground
On and on, as dark become, this day - hurting
you turn, you speak, and say to me
I'll be back, one day, with thee
my tears flow, a beg, don't go
Shsssssh, don't cry, you say, with tears - you too
We'll be together in life so soon, so soon
let's be brave, live it through
only winter, then spring, oh that will bring
The spring will see us happy again - yes so
together, kissing, holding, sharing love
I'll get through my darling, my girl
I turn, walk home, all alone..see you.. see you
