i watched you walk across the room from the shadows i call home i listened to you chat with others from the dark corners unseen i kept my distance admired from afar i did not dare approch to my amazement you approched me you stepped among the darkness you enter my world of shadow befriended me when noone else would i grew to know you and without thinking to love you six months today have passed since the day you first asked me out you took a chance no one else dared to and for that my heart belongs to you alone you've showed me things i never dreamed id see you'ved helped me learn to cry you've smashed all reason for my faithful razorblade and brought me from the shadows and in return i love you alone

this is easily one of the best i've read here, not so much for the structure, but for the content, ideas, and emotions. I like the progression from distant observation to the formation of a real attachment, a relationship. My favorite line is
"you've smashed all reason
for my faithful razorblade"
that line has such a reality to it, this reminds my in a very vivid sense of where i came from in my own relationship with my g/f. She never even knew how she saved me from my own self demise, and for that i love her most
