You knew were meant to be

You have nothing to be afraid of

You were afraid of my love

I loved you the next day
When my heart split in two
I loved you when you said
Its just you
I love you even now
That I know it wasnt true
I loved you even then
When you looked me in the eye
I love you even though
It was only to tell me a lie
I love you because
I can see the true you
I love you even thought
You wont let the true you through
I loved you because
You took my fears away
I still loved you as you
Replaced them, one by one, each day
I loved you through everything
All the good and the bad
I still love you, right now
For the bad times, are among the best Ive had
I loved you with
Each tear falling from my eyes

Was it all based on lies?
I loved your beautiful smile
With its everlasting glow

Built a dam to stop the flow

There is only one person that I've EVER felt that way about... and regretfully he is now only a friend, and it's torture to watch him right beside me talking about his latest love... and it's even worse because he doesn't realize that it kills me on the inside... this poem echoes my sentiments... exactly!
