There we were, the two of us
next to each other so close
I don't know what it was
that held me there. Everything
you do is so seductive. You
take a hold of me and
for some reason you won't
let go. I don't want it
to seem like I led you down
my path and left you,
but the holes in my
heart aren't filled. I'm
working quietly on a wall
around my heart. No one
can enter without intentions
I will not be part of
your game. I don't want
to be next to you not
because of who you are,
but because of what I
am. I'm not ready!
