CLOUDS LIKE OUR LIFE

Clouds like our life, dear Shari
Start with a blazing sunrise and immense energy!
During the day as they float through the sky,
They lose their colors, just like you and I.
They must continue to gather,
in good weather or bad.....
They have to be ready for the
sunset to make us all glad!
Sometimes they encounter problems
as they skit, traveling horizontally.
They lose their energy in storms,
from the winds, sometimes hail too!
But they recharge their hues,
and continue to ready themselves,
for that beautiful sunset,
so restful, so calm, so tranquil,
for us to view!
Words could never say it for me...
I'm at a loss to find the right ones!
You were the beautiful sunset,
with all it's magnificent colors,
painted across our skies.
You were the splendid sunrise,
as we read your poetry, that met our eyes!
But like clouds that must renew,
and, find the energy to repaint their hue...
Please take much loving care of you.
We'll not only miss your sunsets, and sunrises,
but, Oh My, How We Will Miss You!
Created especially
for a very dear lady
who I'm so proud
to call my friend.
