FIRESTORM

Contributed by jaeann on Friday, 31st October 2003 @ 04:21:27 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

a child no more,
with one hell of a wicked score,
tired of all the bores
and carrying around the lore,
she's hungry for the shore
and getting to her core,
wearing of being sore,
waiting for someone to yell "Fore!",
fearful of the slamming door,
wished she could throw a fit upon the floor
and stop being everyone's wh***,
wake up from the gore
of remembering when she was four,
left always wanting more,
feeling tore
and wore,
wondering which lesson all the pain is for,
guessing what else is in store,
while listening for the roar
and waiting for the tears to pour.
