In the night, the shadows deep
You think the thoughts without the sleep
Pure reality sears your mind
Lies and falsities become stripped away
Leaving the truth and pain to stay
What do we seek, why whence we came
From pen to paper, the mind the same
Behind the veils of purest expression
Truth lies, deep within, found whats not sought
But, displeased discard the lot
Ageless wonder, timeless dawns
Seeking forth to call the mourn
Bright young eyes, shining steel
Now new reasons to bring forth the same old deal
Complexity in the things we know
The world to live and let other thrive
No time left for lifes small pleasures
Nature shaped by mans hand
Concrete jungles greet the new mans dawn
Man loses his soul, heart and mind
