Colorblind

Contributed by SkYYBLu on Friday, 31st October 2003 @ 03:48:24 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Moonlight shines through my window pane,
While'st reflecting the tears that run down my face

I know that I am not alone...
Though I know not to whom my soul truly belongeth

Forever I have searched in vain!
Forever I have waited for love to awaken!

...But it never did...

And now I look up at the bright moonlit sky
And wonder why
My life is one big unanswered question,
Something that can be plotted out in black and white
--------Whenever it pleases

Am I possessed?
Have I gone mad?
I have lost my sanity, my identity, even my morality.

I have no sense of right and wrong,
Black and white
They all seem the same to me...
For I am colorblind

Without my love,
Happiness has been alienated from my heart.
I know not the difference,
Between a chuckle and a sob.
They all seem the same to me...
For I am deaf.

Though I cannot see what has become of me
And I cannot hear what is happening to me
I am not alone
I can feel a presence
A touch... a shadow... a hope...

Though I cannot see it or hear it,
I know it is there.
I know I have a reason to live.
I know hope exists

For there are some things,
That I can see
And I can hear
I must not stray from it
I must not let go...

For it is the only thing that I know I can trust

Nothing to laugh at here. This is so moving, so touching. I could feel my heart break as I read it . . .

Laugh hun?? I think not!!!
I had tears reading this.If you felt alone before, then you have come to the right place here. You are part of our family now and you will never be alone again. This is a totally heartwrenching piece and you expressed yourself wonderfully....You can smile now...because soon there will be a difference between your chuckles and your sobs. You have talent..be proud hun.
(((hugs)))

I don't see why anyone would have laughed. If I could easily cry right now I do agree I think I would have. I think it was beautiful. If anyone laughs don't worry I'll go kick their arse.
