As hard as I try
I can't help but to think of your face
Those dark eyes
They take me to another place
Where my heart couldn't cry
Making me feel safe
As the days go by I wonder
Too much rain, lightening and thunder...
In dreams the Angels don't cry
And our love will never die
As I awake, I sigh
Because in dreams you'll sleep in my arms
For an eternity you'll never cause harm
In dreams I can see the sun
You can bring it to me if you stay
Why would you run?
What's keeping you away?
But in dreams you'll come my way
As I watch you from afar
I try to reach out, but how can you touch a star?
I can't reach you with broken wings
In my dreams I have everything
I'm tired of hearing the rain pour
It keeps coming more and more
In dreams the Angels don't cry
My existence is slowly dying
That will explain why they're crying
In dreams our love will never die
As I open my eyes, I sigh
Because in dreams you're with me all the time
As the days go by I wonder
Only you can stop the thunder...
