'Twas not this pounding head nor my heavy heart that woke me from my slumber. Nor Freddy's dreams chased in the dark that ran me from my bower. It was not cricket's loudest screams or Fido's frightened bark; that pushed me up away from dreams to sit here in the dark. I ask myself just why I did it, and how I did it I wonder? As I watch the bubbles rising up in my tallest crystal tumbler. Pepperoni, bacon, sausages were this meat lover's mistake. Combinations with double cheese, and both of them I ate.
