the way it was

Topic: oops

i saw yours and what use to be my best friend on the bus to day after i was coming home from my new life
he insisted i sat next to him
how could i not, he has caused me no pain
so i sat their whlist you and him sent me on a trip down memory lane
as he talked i could not help but listen like i cannot help but miss him
he talked of you and everyone else i left behind with my old life
good things it made me forget your bad points at that moment for the first time in months you were perfect
and i felt rejected
i hear everyone in the gang is doing fine
i couldn't help but ask if i was mentioned from time to time
it doesn't seem like i'm missed
i wanted to be back there with you all
and when he got off the bus i wanted to beg him to stay
but i didn't i just said see you soon
he looked me straight in the eye with this remark then look away quick and walked off the bus
he left me with a see you around
we both know i won't
both of are goodbyes were stupid quotes

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
