Lonely Storm

As the winds bring forth the moisture And the sunlight slowly wanes The clouds mass together To be ready when it rains
It is a proud old tradition To flood the earthly world To give life to the many grasses To shower all boys and girls
And yet there always seems to be A wandering lonely cloud A hating, angry, grieving thing That never speaks out loud
And when the time to rain does come It is forever lonely in the sky And the thunder and rain that comes Is from it's tears and it's cries....
