What have I done?
Ive been untrue,
and all this time
Ive thought of you
Your eyes, and smile
Your soul, your heart
How could I nearly
tear us apart?
I cannot be forgiven
Thus I hate myself
You should discard me
Place me on a forgotten shelf
I dont deserve
the love you give
Nor do I deserve
how you make me live
If I could take it back
I'd change it all
For now I wish
Into the dark abyss - I'd fall
Im sorry for what Ive done to you
I didnt mean for this to be
My negative thoughts ****** up my mind
Made an illusion of reality
I wish to take the hurt away
That I've laid upon your soul
Now I must suffer the consequences
I must pay life's toll...

It takes a very strong, unique persons 2 face their demons head on. It sounds like u have a very caring partner!
The hardest part will be 4-giving yourself.
Grab the luv u have, 4-give yourself now, build up her trust again and in the end u both will b better 4 it. What's done is done but u have someone that luvs u thru the bad as well as good!
Very touching poem here!
Take what u've learned and hold onto the luv.
Great writing!
Others will think twice fore they mess up reading this agonizing, heart warming write!
