empty dreams
empty soul
empty heart
empty conscience
empty life
empty eyes
but still I devour the pain
even now, with the tears
streaming down my face
i need more pain
to make me feel alive
to make me real
i'll hurt myself, just for the hurt
just to know if I am really here
i never seem to know if it is just
a dream
or if it is real
i would hate to know it was real
i want more for my life,
so i hurt myself
over and over and over
create my own drama
just to feel alive
just to feel the pain
of living, of being real...

| Hi jen. This is stefon, I actually got a chance to surf around on the internet for a while and I remembered about this place. I'm not sure if this is your latest poem or not (I figured it was cause it was on top... duh) I was looking at some of dustins poems and I saw your comments so I thought I would check out your poetry. Although i'm not the best judge of all these emotional touchy feely things I will say that I like this. I'm more drawn towards violence and death but this sort of draws out a morbid curiosity in me. I'm not sure why but I better not investigate this curiosity any further because if I do I might just turn into one of these little condom suckers all over this site (you and dustin excluded.) Hmmmmmm. I like. |
