I wish you were by my side, here right now,
To find a way i wish knew how.
Get in my car, lets go for a drive,
A destination unknown , unknown to arrive.
A place never seen, a place never been.
Among the trees, upon the sand,
Alone with you, i give you my hand.
Someone to care for, someone to tend.
Some one with whom my thoughts i can lend.
Some one precious, kind and with wit,
If i had a candle for you it would be lit.
Never to die, forever to burn,
Trust that my back, never will turn.
I dont know why fate led this path,
How could it be never in the past.
Others i have been with since you i have met.
Stuck in my heart, on you i am set.
I rebuilt my walls, how do you tear them down.
With you in my life, no longer that sad clown.
I wish you were her, by my side right now.
To find a way, i wish i knew how.
