so full of hate, i'm rife with it
and it seems to suit you well
you say you only know me
through the hate that i write
but, you don't know me at all
try to make a difference
with your hollow words
and simple convictions
comment on what's not written
only assumed from your end
brainless
you hope to annoy
but, only amuse
so fond, i've grown
of seeing your comments appear
at least, i think they're yours
it would be easier to tell
if you had a name at all
you hate me for hating
yet, you fail to see the humor of that
blind to everything i write
deaf to everything i say
i can't even accuse you of twisting my words
for you obviously type before you read
in the forum, you whine
that you don't understand me
you can't digest my words at all
i've tried to dumb it down for you
i guess the only thing left to do
is to spell it out for you
read carefully:
what you say
and what you think of me
means Nothing
you, for all the incredible things
that i'm sure you've done,
mean Nothing
i hate everything
it's just the way i am
and none of your ever-so clever comments
will ever stop that
i'm glad that my words provoke such reaction from you
it means i'm doing something right
whether you admit it or not
i've inspired hate within you
the very thing you hold against me
pours from you like blood from a knife kissed artery
and you can't stop it
or even see the humor of it
one final truth, i will waste my time dispensing
you seem to enjoy the extent of my hatred
for it gives you free reign
to hate, guilt-free
and i don't mind helping you
you obviously need this release
but, just so there's no confusion
i'll put it in writing right now
while, i may hate everything
and everyone else
i want you to know
i LOVE you

Wow! For someone who doesn't care what I think, you sure have written one amazing poem about me (and a 64 lined one at that)! I'm very flattered. I believe this is only the 3rd time a poem was written about me, and (if I'm correct in assuming), the only one written about me by a boy!
Of course I hate things. Bigotry happens to be one of them. And if you write a poem that condones killing a race of people, I will not be happy at all about it (whether they be Christians, blacks, Jews, homosexuals, etc. and so forth). I didn't post those comments to change your views. I did it to expose the racism you were writing.
Anyway, if my hatred of your bigotry has caused you to have love (even though you said 2 lines before you hate everything, which makes it kind of hard to love me), then I'd say my words HAVE made a difference. Or were you just being sarcastic?
Wow! A 64 lined poem all about me! I'm putting this on my refrigerator! Thanks, Cancer!
BTW- I originally was anonymous because I hadn't made up a log in name. Now I just do it because your curiousity as to who I am makes me laugh. |

| I liked this Cancer. I want to know which ones where promoting racism though... I just looked and I must have missed them. Maybe I'm blind or I don't think like you do dude. In any event I like most of Cancers writing it's good. I can't wait to see yours now though. |

Cancer was writing about when I commented on his poem Winds of Burning. In the poem, he condones the slaughter of Christians. Most people didn't recognize this as bigotry because, for the most part, discrimination against Christians is seen as socially acceptable. If Cancer had been writing about blacks or Jews, I'm sure the racism would have been noticed more easily, and there would have been a bigger outcry against the poem.
However, it's important to keep in mind that discrimination against ALL races and religions are wrong, and even if you don't necessarily agree with the other person, they still have a right to live as human beings, and not be unwillingly taken and burned at a stake. It was wrong hundreds of years ago when it was done to people accused of being witches, and it is wrong now.
Christians and witches both have the right to live. Killing them for their beliefs is wrong, pure and simple.
And Cancer, this new poem got 5 stars from me. |

To Anon - Writing poetry is very much a personal thing ... I couldn't be more distanced in ideas from the kind of poetry that Cancer writes to my own, and yet ...
I have always had an open mind ... enjoying all types of poetry, whether love, dark or sad ... if the poem didn't agree with my thoughts, then I just didn't comment ... although if the poem was really well written then I would comment anyway, but keep it impersonal. I really think you should deal with your rationale of reading poetry ... it can broaden your mind, create a better understanding of other people's works ... and believe it or not, improve your own poetry ...
I feel very sorry that you can't bend just a little to understand that not everyone in this world is like you, we are all different, and we all make up the whole. I don't believe in everything Cancer says, but he is a brilliant poet nonetheless, and I know he probably doesn't believe in hardly anyting of mine, lol ... but we all make up the whole.

| Ok fine I read it. It makes a valid point in truth. I don't see any more hatred expressed than he does at the moon or the sun. I think you need to relax about his writing. I'm sure he doens't care if anyone defends him or puts him down. He knows himself and that is more important. Again though I did ask for one of yours. I just want to see. Won't say a darn thing but you can't put down someones without showing yours. Otherwise your words are pretty empty. |

(deep breath) ok, here we go.
while i don't agree that it was an "amazing poem", it was a scrawl nonetheless in response to thoughts and opinions that don't matter to me. if you'll look back, i also write about christians and life and various other things that mean Nothing to me. this is not a first.
that being said, i'm glad you're flattered. you have brought me so many smiles, and so much laughter, and if i've made you feel special, then i'm happy. and you are correct, i am a boy.
you admit that you hate as well. yet, you seem upset with me for my hatred. is your hatred more justified, or more politically correct? is it better than mine?
as for exposing my "racism", you claimed in the forum that you didn't even understand my words. first off, why would you comment on something you don't understand? second, others seem to understand me just fine, so i doubt that, with your limited understanding, you are pointing out anything that isn't already obvious to them. if you're just trying to make me look like a bad person or something, i'm pretty sure i can handle that one by myself.
your hatred of my "bigotry" didn't cause me to have love. i had love before. i say "i hate everything" as a generalization. i have a wife and son whom i do not hate. i love them both, along with a few other trivial things i've strewn about my life. love was here before your words reached me. i said i loved you, which may have been a bit lofty for the true feelings i have for you. let me correct myself: i appreciate you and your comments and have grown quite fond of you. as to your words making a difference, they have, to an extent. they haven't changed my mind on anything, but they have made me smile and laugh more than i usually do. and for that, i thank you.
BTW- i am not curious as to who you are. that means little to me. i am just curious as to why you hide. i've grown tired of referring to you as anonymous, so i'm just going to call you phillip. i don't know why i chose that name, but that is what i'm going to call you.

what a load of crap. discrimination against satanists is socially acceptable too. so what? and then you refer (again) to my words as being racist. christianity is not a race. you can't chose your race. christianity is a religion. nothing more.

well, that's a bit of a contradiction on your part. we all have the right to live, yet, you said in the forum that if you didn't beLIEve in the power of the law, then you would kill me. what about my right to live, phillip? as for being killed for your beliefs, it was that very act that bought christ his ticket to fame. if it weren't for people like me, christianity wouldn't exist. everyone would've just shrugged and ignored christ, he wouldn't have "died for your sins", we'd all be on a rocket sled to hell, and i wouldn't have anything to complain about. people like myself made that religion possible. without hateful trolls, there would be no church.
i must go, i'm only on lunch break. hope to hear from you again.

omg this is the most I've laughed all day. To Cancer great poem loved the knife kisses artery line and to anon (Phillip) your a half-witted numb-nutted punk and I could say a whole lot morebut your not really worth my time and Cancer has answered everything. I hope you find a life soon Phillip.
