I crawl into bed with my back to the world
With my knees to my chest I am drawn up and curled
I lay there crying
I can't even sleep
I hold my breath tightly, so I don't make a peep
But the tears still do run
They pour down my face
I am thinkng of you and how we used to embrace
I gaze out my window
We are so far apart
I am dying inside
This breaking my heart
With the morning comes many more horrors to bare
I look down at your pillow and you are not there
No good morning my darling
No did you sleep well
Again comes despair and I know I'm in hell
Rescue me from all of this ever present pain
Please be my knight in shining armor once again
