The cold- It numbs my senses
The silence deafens my ears
Starvation weakening all defenses
Swollen eyes blinded by all my tears
My voice has failed from all my screaming
Stumbling for I''m in total darkness
If only I were only dreaming
If there were only place of solace
And if you''ve heard me, you''ve ignored me
No attempt to help me through
You were the only one that could find me
No longer is there hope for my rescue
Im falling deeper into myself
I wish all this pain would end
There''s nothing left for me to live for
No way to find home again
The cold has eaten through my skin
My heart and blood have frozen over
I''ve fallen to the ground unmoving
I''ve given up on my only savior
I feel the pressures closing in
My breaths becoming more shallow
I close my eyes for this final hour
While I know my soul shall remain hollow

wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I loved this poem. I remember feeling that way no more than 2 months ago on a not so very special day. I just relived my pain. I'm going to go cry now. :( ..Excelent write.
