i find i can only admitt this through my poetry
for reasons im unsure of
i fear to fail
and prove them right
so i dont try
i lower myself to what they see me as
and give up on the future i could have
because i fear to fail
i fear to prove them right
and in my fear i prove them right
for i have become what they see me as
good for nothing and worth nothing
is it worth it to give up
im not certain
who knows maybe one day
ill give life a shot
and forget my fear
and succed like i know i can
but still for now im haunted
by the ever lingering thought
that im nothing and worth nothing
its hard not to believe
what you grew up thinking you where
but i always thought that they were wrong
but now that i have the chance
im not sure i could prove them wronge
so i hide behind my fear
and become what they always said i was
