I sit by the fire, contemplating. I stop still as my head swirls around me All aspects begin to merge Forming another irreplaceable lump in my throat and scratch in my heart. Nothing ever boasts clarity anymore It's all wrong There's no quick fix to mend life. To entangle one's self unconsciously is a mistake. To care will kill To hope will not help. There's only so many pain-killers and tranquilisers and anaesthetics a soul can take Untill you're so numbed from reality It's just... ...Gone
