You are the most amazingly perfect
man in the world,
but I'm not an idiot...
I know how the world works
and I know that I can't love you.
Too many spaces have come between us...
and as much sense as it would make,
to just be with you up until the time we are gone.
I know that we can't jump for each other.
And your love will always be the first,
but I will find a way to move on-
even though I may never let completly go.
And when I love you...
I must leave you.
You took my hand when I needed you most,
but I can't let myself fall any further.
So I am just going to walk away and not look back...
because then I risk the chance of falling all over again.
But I'm not an idiot,
I know how the world works
and I know that I can't love you anymore.
Too many spaces have come between us
and my heart...
just won't let me try anymore.
