The sweat has dried from my face
I feel like a fool for all the time I've waste
I shed a tear because I'm hurting inside
I feel like a sick child that's been deprive
From all the beautiful and wonderful things on earth
Not knowin my true value or not really understandin the hurt
That comes from day to night
Screamin the Lord's name in vane
People starring and thinkin I'm insane
I'm runnin butt naked in the cold freezin rain
What should one do with feelings so deep
I'm tryin to quit, so I can't hit the sweet
I'm still lost with nowhere to go
Wonderin why my love just can't grow
In the direction I want it to be
Praying that my conscience will once again let go of me
I'm hopless with nowhere to hide
Many times I've swallowed my pride
It doesn't help, no matter what I do
I'm still standing here lookin depressin and blue
