It's like I died
every time you lied.
A good thousand deaths
Now back to my head
an eternity has passed.
I'd done myself in
must have been your last.
I've picked up the pieces
again though all in the past.
Shattered and torn
still standing my ground
Screaming it's nothing to me
at the top of my lungs.
Just one more moment
I know it it's back now.
Stop for a second
time to gather my words.
Down on one knee
I played the fool.
Standing up all the way
and I'm bareing my teeth.
Showing the world that
I''d burn it all down
if I thought for one
moment that it'd get in my way.
I moved on that day,
that day that was
so long ago.
Back when I
was still just a boy.
