Singularly chosen Selecting unprepared A world awaits the ones who abate And a heaven for those who cared
He'd never known what hit him Not a clue to his locale A world of white and pretty light A dream among the clouds
Then it hit him--he'd realized The car ran a red light --He'd died---
Images, too fast, raced through his mind "Wait! Let me go back! It's not yet my time!" But no ears would hear him No faces, alone For this was not heaven Hell was his home.
Solitude beyond acception Scarred beyond pain His life was abrupt as his dreams weren't enough And soon it began to rain.
