The Endless meanings of Love

The Endless meanings of Love

Love was not meant to be menial,
It was meant to be said with courage and fear,
squirming in the heart at the same moment.

Love is no longer what it was,
It is useless and common day.
No longer the meaning of old,
Am I Nostalgic?

I love you.
Is it real?
Is it true?
I don’t know.
What does it mean to you?

Is there a checklist for love?
You bet your a$$ there is!
Are there levels?
No. Only classes.
Parent. Child. Friend. Romance.

Parental love is the strongest of them all.
Standing tall and brute high above the wall.
Not teetering, not wavering,
A parent’s love for their child is unable to be destroyed,
If one’s child is bad they still love them.
If one’s child is wrong they still love them.
They will kill for their children,
They are physically half their children.
This is why it is so strong,
Why would you hurt yourself?

A child’s love is weak,
Most able of them all to be beaten and broken.
Often set at a young age,
Love from a child is taught and earned,
When taught right and given respect.
A child is the most volatile,
Most pure and clear love existing,
If the parent is taken away the child will die inside,
Never to be returned, only forgotten,
A child is like a soldier if the parent is threatened.
Give them the chance to hurt those that hurt their parents,
And it WILL be taken.

A friends love has the most potential,
It is more strong than that of a child’s love,
A friend love is the most difficult to have and upkeep,
If one’s friend is good, pure, and cares for one, a friend love is able.
Plutonic love is what it could be called.
It is a love that takes years and years to truly earn,
And is the most easy to give up at,
When it is earned it is the most beautiful love there is to have.
You love your friend as if they were your sibling.
Almost as if they were you!
It is not clouded by physical attraction.
It is the most easy to spot when had.
You will KILL for your loved friend.

A romance love is a cherished one,
Like an undying sign of humans affection.
It is the most wanted.
It is the hardest to truly know.
It is the easiest to achieve.
It is the most different form of love.
There is a checklist for romance love,
Answer these all these statements yes and you have love:
I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I will love you forever.
My body is yours and yours completely and alone.
I will be there for you whether what I am there for is pleasing to me or not.
If you are ever harmed by anyone I will so deeply want even if I cannot to do to them what they did to you.
I will kill for you.

Man, Mick, bro, I love you and everything....

BUT GET YOUR OWN ACCOUNT! LOL!

This was great. Didn't know you had a poetic side to you, but then again it seems to be running in the family... Okay, won't get bigheaded now. *grins sheepishly then laughs*

Love, Mars

Wonderful analysis..he has great potential..
there is no doubt..I commend Mick miller..I think he is your son..blessings to him.
there is only one spell mistake which I must point out for his guidence..
Platonic love: pure taintless love
Plutonic love: demonic love..
but that may be a spell mistake by oversight..
let him open an account...venkat

I DON'T CONSIDER WHAT I READ A POEM MORE THAN A STORY. A POEM HAS A DIFFERENT MEANING FOR ALL WHO READ IT AND I REITERATE ITS MORE LIKE A TRUTHFUL STORY. THERE'S A REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVE AND BEING IN LOVE DON'T CONFUSE THE TWO NOR MAKE THEM AS ONE IN THE SAME.
