The absence of feeling
Or could it be overload?
I am oft times reeling
All feeling I have stowed
Is it too little
Or is it too much?
Am I cold and brittle
Or the opposite of such?
My mind keeps wandering
No place does it rest
My heart is slumbering
Emotion it does protest
I miss feeling loved
Its dangerous for me
I thought it sent from above
But its just temporary
It hurts too much to hope
And as much to despair
With life Ill now cope
No laughter, no tears
Is it worse to face lifes disappointments
Or to feel nothing at all?
Should I hang on to the fragments
Or let my hearts pieces fall?
