In the depths of this night, I lie here, Blinded, I hear you, Your voice, Your breath pounds in my head, Yet I dont see you, My bed is empty, I dare not chance a blink, Neither rest my eyes, For fear of missing you, You may still be here, Were you ever here? Does this voice belong to you? Or to a figment of a dream, Yet I cannot dream, Only lie here, Blinded, To listen for your voice.

I used to do a lot of that, it brought back memories. But I never heard other people's voices. Still don't.
Our minds are so incredibly powerful that I don't let mine carry me away any more. Your poem shows the dangers.
Good but I felt not quite as good as the Jester'
