Chicka he calls me
Not babydoll or sweetheart
Not always or often
Not for any particular reason
Deeply he kisses me
In the dark of my basement
In the light of my fantasies
In the passion of the moment
Patiently he waits for me
Since I'm always five minutes late
Since he's always ready to go
Since I do things at my own time
Carefully he lets me down
Telling me he doesn't want to be serious
Telling me he doesn't want to hurt me
Telling me things aren't really over
Chicka he calls me
Making me feel special
Making me smile, content with what we are
Making me hopeful, sure thing will change soon
