Unwanted Creation

Contributed by PsychoticDreamz on Thursday, 13th November 2003 @ 10:25:09 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Living a lie
Passing each day with smiles
No one knows they're fake
except me
No one knows Im crying
when you make me 'laugh'
except me
Why must I lie?
Day after day
month after month
year after year
they multiply until I cannot cope
I nearly break
I nearly fall into the
dark abyss
I remember you
and life floods my body once more
You KNOW me
My love
You understand how I am
WHO I am
who I will always be
No other knows me
They only know but my name
My parents think they help
but they MADE me
They dont know who they've created
what they've created
But all shall know
for I shall have revenge
for those who have destroyed
my happiness
my life
I shall unleash the monster
locked inside
caged within my mind
feeding off my heart
You will know me
Not my name
Not my past
but ME
The creation of sorrow

I really like the first twelve or so lines of that, for some odd reason. The overall poem itself is interesting.

I'm sorry my love, How can you say you are unwanted, I want you, I need you, I have you, you have me, we can be together forever, you know who this is, I sometimes thank your parents cause they've brought me my greatest gift, you.
