Silence is all I need
Love is only a dream
I don't hunger for the sun's soothing light
I crave for darkness, do hold me tight
I couldn't possibly feel
A need for love that isn't real
Emptiness is all I have within
And if by chance you find interest
On the outside of my skin
Go find yourself another
I will not give in
There's not one worthy enough
I use to think so
Dreams can be rough
They come and go
I now see reality as it is
Loneliness will always give you a kiss
Never tell you lies
So as I close my soulless eyes
Darkness is all I can see, so let it be
Angels dare shed their tears upon me
Begging me to set loneliness free
Where were they when I spoke their names?
Now they approach with such shame
Love was always playing the game
Loneliness will never abandon me
So I spread my arms wide
Having no intention to hide
To welcome the dark side
