the point of view is shaded
we follow through unjaded
the last light that we saw was yesterday
nighttime falls on us so soon
to be just waiting in our room
for a sign to tell us that it's okay

breathing out
whispering
the shadows of our lives will leave again
rest up now
for soon we'll be
nestled softly in our place of dreams

time will open up
and we will have said enough
the dark will consume all that we are
show your face to me
curious beckoning
at last we find peace in the stars
