But I did, when I said goodbye
I may not be there at your side
Can you still feel me there, inside?
Clouds still fill the clearest of skies
Ive tried so hard to cut the ties
But I still dream of that look in your eyes
As I try to sort through these emotional tides
Time seems to tick by so slow
Every night my tears for you flow
You dont need me, this I know
But every day my love for you grows
I realize now that to leave
It was only my heart, to deceive
What we had, we could retrieve
If you had faith and believed
Now that youre no longer here
My life without you I truly fear
With every thought of you I tear
Oh, how I still love you, my dear
Just know that for you I still wait
In hopes you two will separate
For us, never would be too late
I'm starting to believe loneliness is my fate
At times I start to call you
But you wouldnt say what I need you to
No words like, My heart aches for you.
Just something like Im sorry youre still blue.
You wouldnt say you were mistakin
Just that youre sorry my hearts still breakin
Im in a nightmare from which I cant awaken
All because from you, Ive been forsaken
