It is an illusion. Only your mind thinks everything is still which is obviously not true.
You are functioning as a living creature. Nothing wrong with that and as you say it is of no concern to anyone.
You have made a concious decision which (for the moment) suits you and everyone alse.
If only a few more would do the same the world would be a better place.
You can change your mind anytime you like
