Emotions are the strangest things aren't they? I think you portrayed them beautifully. The poem is absolutely seamless, I love it =)
The questions you asked hit the nail on the head when it comes to love. Either they love you back, or you're left alone.... You just have to find out where it stands.
Excellent job on the breaks too. You worked it out very well.
