My heart is aching for something more
I wish I knew what God had in store
To see my life in black and white
What a joy… out of sight
No mistake to be made not a one
Do you think it would still be fun?
No regrets for sins of old
Or would my heart just grow cold
My heart is aching for something more
Should I be giving to the poor?
To fill the empty here in me
Is that what makes a person free
Donate time to those with less
I am selfish I must confess
I want to give more of self
Pull my soul down of the shelf
