The Knight and The Maiden

Contributed by Aika on Wednesday, 19th November 2003 @ 07:05:46 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

In apparel woven of strands of the night
standing maiden
on the edge of the abyss

In the moonshine, her apparel
snow-white, shining and gently waving
maybe soft breeze - or stars movement
was playing with her long hair

Pack of wolves sitting behind her
she has no fear, shes their mistress
queen of the woods, or witch?

So far, in the darkness
something glistens
dark knight on wild horse
slowing down, drawing near

She knew he had to come
he let her know
envoy of devil
does not mean the curse
to abandon

The wolves howled
and the fear covered the land
but the maiden resigned, was waiting
for what comes

The dark knight jumped down his horse
came to her
even the wolves fell silent of fear
and maiden looking at him

Evil suffocating her, knees shivering
heart pounding
with proud standing still
the maiden, with love radiating

He looked at her
drew his sword
wanted to kill her
for that she never abandoned, but...

He fell on his knees
threw away the sword
deeply touched with her pure love
he jumped down to the abyss
his evil he damned

Darkness and fear dispersed
the sun raised, even the wolves disappeared
the maiden turned her sight
on the white knight
who was just coming to her

Centuries of curse
power of love
long tight hugs
the knight and the maiden, coming back, home...

V měsčnm svitu, jej at
jemně se vln a bělostně zř
snad větřk - pohyb hvězd mon
pohrval si s jejmi dlouhmi vlasy

Smečka vlků sed za n
neboj se, je jejich pan
krlovna lesů, čarodějka?

V dli, v temnotě
cosi se zablskne
temn rytř na divokm koni
zapomaluje, bl se k n..

Věděla, e přijde,
on dal j o tom znt,
posel ďblův
nehodl svou kletbu vzdt

Vlci zavyli
a krajinu pokryl strach
jen panna odevzdaně čekala
co přijde pak

Temn rytř seskočil z koně
a přiel a k n
i vlci strachy utichli
a panna dv se naň

Zlo ji dusilo, třsla se kolena,
srdce splaeně builo
ale hrdě dl stla,
ta panna, lskou zřc

On pohleděl na ni
tasil svůj meč
hodlal ji zabt
neb nevzdala se, leč..

Padl na kolena,
meč odhodil
zasaen čistou lskou panny
zlo sv proklel,
do propasti skočil

Tma i strach se rozplynul
slunce vylo, i vlci zmizeli
panna obrtila svůj zrak
na blho rytře,
kter prvě přijděl

Stalet kletby,
sla lsky,
dlouh, těsn objet
rytř s pannou domů se vrac....
