Something we all have in common
And it comes in many forms
Its a thing we dont like to mention
It may even come in swarms

Some push it deep down inside
Others face it stubbornly
People, it can even divide
Or cause untold calamity

No matter how we try to hide
Or what it is we fear
No matter how much weve cried
Its unchanged by our tears
