You stomp 'round,
You clank and clatter
Don't you realize
It's my life you shatter?
Trying to cry out,
The words spiral back.
Trying to shout,
But sound's what it lacks.
I'm disentigrating
As I helplessly call
My ears are starting to ring
And I'm going to fall.
And you either don't notice,
Or don't care about me.
I'm so forlorn,
I'll never be free.
Maybe you'll notice
Before I come unglued
You've got to,
My life's counting on you.
