I stay awake as the moon disappears
Imprisoned of my own will
Every night the shadows abandon me
Allowing judgement lights to shine
The last speck of night fades away
The final seconds of the moonfall
Time seems to hold still
Now it's neither night nor day
Luna walks away leaving fear in my eyes
Left all alone as a part of me dies
Luna walks away leaving tears in my eyes
Leaving me alone to face another sunrise
I awaken and sleep to the sun
Insomnia gives me too much time to think
Why even bother waking up
Can I please just sleep forever
Why even bother waking up
To another nail in the coffin
Luna walks away leaving fear in my eyes
