The peace was shattered
By a scream
Your blood splattered
Flowed in a steady stream
I lost all that mattered
Was it a dream?
Your body inert
The knife of hurt
Twisted deeper into my bleeding heart
Cut by broken shards
Your perfection marred
By crimson streaks that did not belong
Left me emotionally scarred
Forever trapped in a sorrowful song
