Scars and Death

Contributed by saddarkgirlreingsthenight on Saturday, 22nd November 2003 @ 01:31:26 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

why do you leave these scars on me?
you leave them on my heart, body, and soul.
they run so deep that i don't think i'll ever be loved.
i've been scared for life and i don't know why,
i loved you and i was blind.
lets start at the begining.

i loved you and i thought you loved me.
i let you love me, and through that love i was blinded. you used me and abused me. i trusted you with me deepest darkest secrets.
before you i swore i'd never love. but you said you won't break my heart.
i trusted you like i had trusted no other.
but then you betrayed me.
that is what has lead me to this.
to writing to keep me alive.

but i don't think i have to deal with this much longer,
my life is almost over.
but don't think you have won.
In the end i have beat you.
through suicide you can't leave me.
you can't abuse me and use me.
i let when you loved me,
and now i have one.
tell my friends to not cry too much,
and explain the story to them.
and when you can't then you'll remember never to hurt another girl in your life.
