Doomed from the start As my stars usually are
Working down in the basement Down in the basement
With sizable scars
Close my eyes and pretend I'm so high Yes, we are bothered
Always try to move me With a movement
On the cement
Legible writing That really never rests
Keep me under control
Sleeping always and tired tomorrow The weight of my conscience
With sizable scars
Breaking through the inside Living in a basement
Tearing through the dark
Can't see where I'm supposed to go
I was doomed from the start As I usually am
Working down in a basement Living through a hell in my own dark
Keep my thoughts and feelings away
Make sure I conquer yesterday
Haven't hurt in a long time With sizable scars
Living so deep in the basement of life And clawing my way through the dark
