God's love and Jesus..

A message of pure love!

Jesus preached the love of God
And the love of fellow men to all
God was the loving father of heaven
To Jesus and many sages of the past
Lord was also a loving Mother of heaven
To many of the ancient sages of the East
The message of Jesus is always
To love your neighbors as yourself;
He said the kingdom of God is
Within us and His-will be done
On earth as it is in the heaven;
Seek you shall find it in your hearts
You can find God in your hearts
Then you can add every thing unto thee;
Knock the door it shall be opened unto thee
Jesus has shown the way to all men
To the kingdom of God, truth and light
Which is hidden as a treasure in all of us
Therefore accepted that he was the way
And his was the truth and light
He laid stress on love of God and fellow men
Asked us to repent for our sins change our hearts
To get the entry into the kingdom of heaven
You shall not be angry with any one
For anger is the quality of the Devil
Love all beings; you shall not hate any one
For hatred is the quality of the Devil
And you must overcome the evil by good
A good heart gets the Gods forgiveness
A man who loves God and his fellow men
In his heart realizes the God and the heaven
For love of God manifests in the love of men
This message is the essence of Vedas
This message is the essence of Holy Scriptures
Earlier this was delivered by Lord Krishna
And the same was taught by our Lord Jesus
Righteousness and Love are the two things
Preached by Lord Buddha and all other Seers
Whether you read Bible or Bhagavadgita
You have to realize the God as the self of all
Then only you can realize the heaven on earth
Then only you will attain your final beatitude
Almost all the great saints told us in one voice
That selfless service to man is the service to God
Amen! Om obeisance to the Lord of universe Om!

Venkat

I have tried in many of my poems, to stress the folly of each religion claiming to worship "The One True God".

This write of yours is the first I have ever seen which makes a brave attempt to unify the different sects/religons and I give it my wholehearted support.

The origins of Christianity are not accurately
presented in the Bible.and nothing is said about James, (brother of Jesus) who was the leader of the origional Jewish Christian church in Jerusalem.

The gospel we read was written in Rome (many years later) removing James and Jewish Christianity from the story of Jesus
and fully refurbishing Christianity as a Graeco-Roman religion. Peter became the primary apostle and first Pope and that is how Christianity as we know it was born. Had he not done that would Christianity have survived?

We must all open our hearts to other teachings and other religions without feeling we are selling our souls to the devil

Well said Venkat

I thank my God, as I know Him, for you. You are a peace maker. You bring understanding to us of your culture and even ours.
I confess that I don't know all that I should know from my Bible .....or the differences be-tween our Christian denominations.
I wish we didn't have the language barriers.
I think of the name of God as being much like one of our phrases of wisdom,.... 'A rose by any other name is still a rose.' Friend Bizzy

Pure love...is the ability to love all and everything, without preference nor prejudice. Pure love...involves virtues such as impartiality, rationality, and spontaneity. Venkat, thank you for bringing this message-we should concentrate on our similarities than our differences, in a world scarred by aeons of religious conflict and paranoia. Thank you for gracing our site with your works.
