Depressionmania

Anybody know what depression is?
Is it something that many people dont understand?
Or something understood by all?

A simple word Depression
But there are a lot of things to say
About this unbearable word
That no one likes to know
But I think everyone had it
In different stages of their life

It just depends on which level you belong
Sometimes its not that bad or sometimes on its worst
But the word is still depression
Thats the name we cannot change

Struggling, suffering, hurting, loneliness and
Low self-esteem
Never have a positive approach direction in life
With uncontrollable rage, that no one would like to see
To live in a complicated world, is a struggle to survive

People who got depression isolate themselves
From the outside world, that they used to know
Turning to alcohol or drug abuse or sometimes hurting themselves
Thinking it would help them by refusing to face the reality
To release the pressure in their mind and soul that never goes away

Hoping one day they can get over it
An illness very hard to cure
With a broken heart with broken hope of a lost spirit

Life is meaningless for them
Just a sad look face with an empty look
Not knowing what to do
Loneliness that can kill
Nobody knows the reason why
A simple word depression can do a lot of harm

Medical experts say a lot of things
But they really havent got an idea or a picture of how it feels
With all sorts of treatments available for it
Therapy, rehabilitation programs, counselling, support group,anti-depressants pills and of course dont forget
The electric shock of the brain are used to cure this illness
Which one of these can really help you?

Not until you had it in your life, then you will
Understand people who got depression
They undergo a torture of its soul and spirit inside them

Depression a mixed emotion of the heart and brain
Struggling to get away from it
Trapped inside in you, in a lonely place of hell
Suicide thoughts are there to stay to its hopeless mind
The suffering that goes on and on
AN illness that no one can take
To live in a disillusion world

Desperation of help is sought in everyway.
With unstable mind and insanity, bearing the pain that
Never goes away
Only endless love, deep understanding and support is all
What they need
In prayers and faith to God, we all kneel down
To help someone in their agony in life.
