The Majesty of Desire

Contributed by Exodus-On-Life on Tuesday, 25th November 2003 @ 02:30:50 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Hang me by your hooks
Pierce my ashen skin

My back bleeds black
And darkness sets in

Queen of Pain surrounds me

Thoughts that hold me tighter
Sharp as the silver hooks

Tortured by despair
Loving the way the sky looks

Told me once these hooks were out of love for me

Queen of Pain that controls me
Takes me deeper into doubt

Drags my from my happiness
Bleeds all the good I have straight out

Not much of a servant
Royalty and the Queen of Pain

These hooks are really painful
Ripping my weakened flesh

Falling so high from my resting place
Eyes open and doing my best

Queen of Pain drags my body into her court

Sets down just to bleed me dry

Set the hooks and make the curtains draw

Take my heart for granted
Given to you just to maul

Dirty smiles that hold me
Hooks that keep me from escaping

Losing the time I held so close
And all these messes I am making

Queen of Pain
What would be your impossible wish

Smile at me from behind evil eyes
The same as it always is

Lift my back up off the hooks
These wounds will scar

My face will wince sometimes
And my sad eyes always are

Waiting for my Queen of Pain
Drag me from there

Queen of Pain
Master of my despair

I have read several of your writes this morning. You write with great emotion and deep thought in each one. Nice work!
