In Passing

Contributed by Vitreous_Soul on Wednesday, 26th November 2003 @ 06:56:53 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

In passing new death is born
For this dying soul no one need mourn
'Neath reaper's blade came fatal slice
Through solitude came willing sacrifice

In passing kind words had been said
In life pure nothing, silence instead
At the end came the few tears shed
Where was this before falling dead

In passing no one can ignore
Spurious caring never had before
Wonder why death came with arms open wide
Before being buried was withered inside

The conscience of sadness a plague everlasting
Can never be subdued, not even in passing

A very sad, but beautifully well written poem, Vitreous_Soul, well done.

Oh My so sad and mournful....but I agree with Emy...very well written indeed.
I can't get into Dark poetry...
maybe because it seems so futile to me.
I'm from the generation where they married and lived very happily *smiles*

I'll save the stuttering and start worshipping it now.

Dark, but very well-written.
